College Hosts Symposium on Leadership and Professionalism

In September 2015, the College held a symposium on leadership and professionalism. The symposium featured speakers who inspired the RECEs and stakeholders from the early learning and child care sector on the topics of leading through change and leadership in action. Dr. Jillian Rodd gave the keynote speech on the importance of leadership in early childhood education.

Participants found that the symposium broadened their awareness and gave them insight on where the profession is heading. 

“I left feeling very inspired. In fact, I jotted notes until late into the night so I could capture all of the ideas and energy I generated as a result of my engagement in the day” said Tonya Millsap RECE.
